Leading a normal life with a panic disorder is extremely difficult and disturbing. Most people suffering from panic attacks tend to see every situation as a possible threat and hence live every single day trying to avoid meeting people, traveling, living alone, getting into conflicts or arguments etc...
In learning to control panic attacks, first understand what causes your attacks. Take a look at your life and consider the stresses you undergo daily. Do you have a phobia or stress disorder? These are the most common causes of panic attacks, but there are any number of other triggers. For example, job interviews, presentations, public speaking, and tests can all trigger an attack. The key is knowing that these events are stressful and knowing that you are at risk.
Panic is a response to the feeling of being threatened or in danger, a fight or flight response. Feeling safe and secure is a large part of avoiding the triggers of panic attacks. Indulge in activities such as meditation, which gives your mind a chance to unwind. In extreme cases, therapy may be an answer. To the open-minded, self-hypnosis is also an option. In any case, avoid stimulants such as caffeine, which may worsen the symptoms.

Cure for Panic Attacks - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Every human feels anxiety on occasion; it is a part of life. All of us know what it is like to feel scared and concerned. We feel nervous when we have to give a speech, go for a job interview, or walk into our boss's office for the annual performance appraisal. We know it's normal to feel a surge of fright when we unexpectedly see a photo of a snake or look down from the top of a high rise building. Most of us manage these kinds of anxious feelings fairly well and are able to carry on with our lives without much difficulty. These feelings don't disrupt our lives.
But me and millions of others suffer from devastating anxiety that severely affects ones life. I am talking about panic attacks. Back in 2006 I was diagnosed with the anxiety disorder that led to many and I mean MANY panic attack episodes. The feeling was scary, depressing and confusing.
The treatment for a anxiety disorder mainly depends on the severity and length of the problem. The persons willingness to actively participate in treatment is also an important factor. When a person with panic is motivated to try new behaviors and practice new skills, he or she can learn to alter the way the brain responds to familiar thoughts and feelings that have previously caused anxiety.
